App Paying

Hello, I really love your writing software but I do have a concern about it nothing bad mind you just a question I worry about.
I know you stated you wanted to work on an app version which would be truly helpful for people such as me who travel a lot and doesn’t want a bring a large heavy pc to either get stolen or broken from.
Thus, it would be greatly helpful to have it for an app but my question is will we have to repay for it? Even if we buy the lifetime deal? Like what scrivner does? And will be able to be connected through app and pc?
I just wonder and worry because I don’t have the kind of money to spend it on two seperate products and neither would it be helpful if I couldn’t reach my document between app and pc to continue when I’m out.
Sorry if this had already been answered I just wanted to make certain tho!

Hey, thanks for the kind words!

If you’ve got a cloud storage (which I recommend having for extra backups of your work anyways!), you can definitely write on the go with another app, save your work in your cloud storage, and then bring it all together in Papyrus when you’re back home. :house_with_garden:

:bulb: glucose has a good example here on how to set up your cloud so you can sync .docx Word files over to and from Papyrus: Any plans to launch in ipad ios? - #13 by glucose

You can export Word files from Papyrus by going “File” → “Export” → “Word .docx…”, and you can bring in .docx (or .txt, .rtf, almost any file you’ve got!) in by just dragging the file into Papyrus.

If you’ve got an exotic cloud storage or device set up, let me know. I’m sure we can find a good workflow! :man_scientist:

I don’t have a scoop on the app. It’s something I’d love to see too, but for now no news. I expanded a bit on this here: Papyrus Author compatible version for iPad OS

Awesome to hear from you, have fun with Papyrus and let me know how it goes! :sun_with_face:
