Can I change the format and size of a project?

Papyrus Author Free version 10.06a Win64 dated 2020-9-15

So, if I’ve started a project and want to change it to a different format, is that possible?

For example, I start a writing project on the A4 template but then decide I want to self publish and need the file to fit a 5x8 print ready template, can I change it? And where/how would I do that?

I’m liking PA for projects but it’s taking a bit of getting used to.

It’s great to hear you’re liking Papyrus Author.

Yes it is! We have an easy way for you to apply a template to an existing document.

With your document open, go to the File menu then select Generate / Adopt Styles from Other Document:

In the open browser, select the template you want by double clicking it or single click and “Open”. The standard 5x8 template is located in the Templates / Projects / (02) Paperback folder.

This will create a new document with the original content but with the new layout. Simply save the document and you are ready to carry on writing or editing.
