I just purchased the full version, went through filling out everything for my characters etc… only to run into an error when saving. - Cannot create project folder. I try and make a blank project… access denied, may be write protected. It is installed on my C drive. I cannot do anything with this $400 software at this point. Please let me know what I am supposed to do to fix this.
Try saving to a different directory. I always save to Dropbox so I am synced across my devices.
On the start-up screen, where you can create new projects, select ‘create new’ and follow the prompts.
Select ‘new project’ followed by ‘book’.
You have to now give the project a title. Beside where you create the title, there is an icon of a folder. From there, select or create the folder you wish to save to. Try a different directory than the C drive.
You can also change the default directories from within the program.

I’m guessing this happens because of the security settings of your device. You might have to add Papyrus to your list of apps with access permission.
