Every time I try to reopen my project it comes up with the following error card:
Error reading project file
[File location]
file is truncated
(unexpected end of file)
How can I fix this? Thank you!
Are you opening the book from the “Recent Documents” list inside Papyrus Author?
That error message suggests something’s gone awry with the project file of your book, but the actual book file should be good.
I think there’s a quick fix, here’s how:
- Go to your book’s folder with file explorer or finder.
Papyrus Author saves by default to your “Documents” folder under “Papyrus Author documents”.
- Locate and open the [book name].pap file instead of the .papproject project file.
The book should open normally.
