Changing page numbering in middle of book

Hello, does someone know how to change page numbering in the middle of a book, to start with page 1 again?

Let’s say you have 50 pages and you want to restart with page 1 on page 51.

  1. Create a new master page or a duplicate of your current master page.
  2. On the new master page, delete the page number placeholder (#)
  3. Insert a new page number place holder with an offset of -50 so that the sum of page and offset will be 1 on page 51.
  4. Apply the the new master page to page 51 and all following pages.
