Disable Alt key menu access

I wish there was a way to disable the alt key so that an accidental press when I’m going for the space bar didn’t take me away from the editor window. I don’t need Alt shortcuts for the menus and it would be great to be able to disable it.

Select the editor window.
Press Alt
Release Alt
Observe that the file menu is activated.

I wish that didn’t happen.

I will bring this up with the development team, but as far as I understand it, the alt-button is governed by Windows’ settings, so there is no option in Papyrus Author to disable it.

There are third party applications available, that allow editing and disabling keyboard actions - maybe you can find a workaround solution that way. Unfortunately I can’t endorse any particular one.
