How to remove status icons?

Hello, I can’t figure out to remove status icons (e.g. in the Navigator or Organizer) in the new Papyrus 12. In Papyrus Author, right-clicking on a status icon brought up a dropdown menu with a “none” option at the top. In Papyrus 12, there’s no “none” option in the menu. I can change an existing status icon, but I can’t delete it.

Am I missing something?

Hi @hotelbravo ,

in the Navigator just click on the status icon again, and it will go away. Same in the Organizer, just click on the icon in the chapter/scene card again.

Thanks, @joey. That works in the Navigator, but not in the Organizer. (I’m using the Windows version.)

Did you try the character card on the right of the window?

I don’t have those story sheets in my Organizer. (I don’t see a way to add them, but anyway I prefer a more streamlined/low-clutter Organizer).
I’m trying to remove the status icons by right-clicking on them in the Status column, which doesn’t work.

Aha, it’s a bug! :beetle:

You should be able to remove the status icon with right clicking on the Navigator, Story Sheet and the Organizer.

At the moment, the other two work fine, but the Organizer doesn’t remove the icon. We’ll get it fixed in the future versions. :+1:

For a quick workaround; if you want to delete an icon in the organizer, open the Story Sheet (bottom-right icon), and remove it there.

Here’s a quick video on it:

Thank you, @Sam! Unrelated question: is there a way to turn off the animated tutorials in the new Papyrus 12? Every time I make something Ghost Text, for example, a large animated window pops up showing me how Ghost Text works. It’s getting a bit frustrating to have to close the window every time. Is there a “don’t show this again” option somewhere?

Hi @hotelbravo ,

the little tutorials will miss you, but you can turn them off in the settings/preferences under “dialogs” at the bottom.
