Hi all,
I have a sizable text table in MS Excel (a vocabulary list / dictionary for a conlang) and want to import it into my main document. Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to do it? I can’t find an obvious important table or import CSV / XLSx function.
I would select the relevant cells in Excel and copy them. Then paste into Papyrus, perhaps using Edit > Paste Contents and choosing Rich Text. This should give you the same table as in Excel. If you choose Unformatted Text instead, you will get the words tab-separated.
If you want to import the table into a Papyrus Base database, then export from Excel as CSV, create a suitable table in Papyrus Base, and import the CSV using File > Import.

Thanks for that - wasn’t sure if I was missing something obvious
