Hi,
I’m in the middle of a major edit and on a deadline. I have seen the messages on my login screen that say there will be a big Papyrus update tomorrow, January 27, 2025.
I’m running an older version of OS Catalina on my Mac (version 10.15.7), due to disk space.
Will I be able to open/use Papyrus Author when the new version rolls out tomorrow?

Yep, you can keep using Papyrus Author on your computer.

Papyrus 12 has a release date: February 10!

Your current Papyrus Author 11 will keep running on macOS Catalina until March 31, and after that Papyrus 12 is moving to Apple’s officially supported systems: starting from macOS 12 (Monterey).
So, if you’re still on an older macOS, I hope you can make some room and update! 
Here’s the system requirements for Papyrus 12:
Minimum: macOS 12 (Monterey)
Recommended: macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
Windows 11 (64-bit) All maintained versions
Minimum: Windows 10 (64-bit) 1809 (October 2018 Update)
Recommended: Windows 10 22H2 (2022 Update) or later
