Moving files - internal project links affected?

I need to re-organise my PC filing system, because it’s a mess.

If I simply drag and drop the Papyrus project folders to a new location, will it break any links within the project, or are they relative rather than absolute links?

Similarly for backups?

I remember having issues in the old program where some databases had to be re-assigned as they’d been shared from another project (book series - same characters, etc.)

Has anyone tried this before I just dive in and potentially make a mess?

I move my folders around all the time, and it’s easy to do.
You can move the folders to wherever you like, just make sure the folder is intact. For instance, if you have a project folder called ‘book’, move that entire folder to the new location, and keep the files and folders within it as they are. When you next open Papyrus again, navigate to that new location using the ‘My files’ tab and file browser.
Once you have opened the project once, it should appear in the ‘Last Session’ tab.
I keep all my projects in a Dropbox folder on my hard drive, and I use the following folder structure:
Books/Papyrus/Project.
Each project folder reflects the title of the book, so that I stay organised. Each time I start a new book, I create a new project folder.

Thanks, Ben. I will shuffle them around this evening (as soon as the room drops back to a reasonable temperature here in the uk :innocent:)

Mine are all in folders, so hopefully no issues.
