I’ve just downloaded the awesomeness that is Papyrus 12. Thank you for thinking about your long-time subscribers.
The pop up tutorials keep crashing the programme and I can’t find where to turn them off. I’ve clicked through them to finish but they keep coming up. Sometimes they crash everything and sometimes they don’t. How do I turn them off?
That’s sorted out the automatic tutorials thanks. It’s the only time it crashes.
I was trying to skip through the tutorials to see if it was a first time only and when I clicked finish, the programme would freeze and a error would come up saying it was not responding and needed to close. It hasn’t done it since getting rid of the auto tutorials.
I run on Windows 10. My laptop is pretty old now and a little slow to start in the mornings, like me in the middle of winter! It’s a Lenovo IdeaPad 320s. AVG is the antivirus system.
When I also click into the tutorials, every time it crashes and closes papyrus, so i just close it using the x. I have windows, on a hp, I shall try turning off the tutorials now.
Just to be sure, does Papyrus crash on clicking the “finish” button at the end of the tutorial series, like with @jemma_ash, or clicking on a tutorial in the Learn page?
For now as a quick fix, disabling the Tutorials seem to work, in case someone else runs into this.
With me it was clicking on next to get the next tip. or clicking on the little circles at the bottom for the next tip, when it just froze and the whirlygig of doom appeared for a few seconds, then the whole thing shut down. I’ve disabled them as you said for now.
Cheers
