Throughout my text, I get little green indicators or quote marks at various places. I can’t find a pattern to it. The hint says that the symbol " is mismatched. But it isn’t. Sometimes the indicator is at te start of dialog, sometimes at the end, sometimes both.
Maybe it has to do with smart quotes. Maybe an apostrophe in te dialog.
Try this:
“Let’s. We’ll do it.” - indicator at end
“Lets. Well do it.” - indicator on beginning
I can’t find a pattern, but it is all through my text.
Turning off automatic quotes deosn’t fix it.
Converting to ASCII quotes doesn’t fix it.
I wish I could narrow this down for you.
Hi!
Thanks for the example sentences. I see there’s something funky going on:

Have fun with Papyrus!
I had this happen and it turned out to be miss matching quotation marks in the text. try going to Edit, Special, and select all quotes in document typographical. when the next window opens, press convert.
Hope this helps.
Thank you, Ben. I had tried that, and just tried it again. It didn’t get rid of the marks. I was used to unmatched quote indicators in Papyrus 11. This is different. Thank you for the hint.
I’ve had the same thing come up as I’m typing this evening and I think I have a pattern with mine. It looks like it’s not matching my speech marks together when a character speaks more than 1 sentence between speech marks. I could be wrong but the 2 that have underlined have that in common, whereas the other bits of speech are single sentences and not underlined.
Thanks for the insights. We’re looking into it!
