Smart quotes will not leave

Windows 10

10.07b 64b

I have turned off smart quotes, sticking to ASCII straight quotes.
However, when I do a spell check of my document, I keep getting suggestions to change to a smart quote. I do not have the option to say it is correct everywhere (button greyed out). Is there a way to disable smart quotes and not have it show up in the spell check dialog?

Hello, welcome to the Community!

Unfortunately, looks like there is a miscommunication from the Smart Quotes preferences to the Spelling and Grammar check.

At the moment, this part of the Spellcheck cannot be disabled.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will pass this along to our development team, so we can fix it for future versions!

Apologies for the inconvenience. If there are any further questions, let me know!
