… the Characters Ends do show up. I’ve turned on Show Invisible Elements and even changed the Spaces color from red to blue; no luck. I haven’t used Papyrus Pro for two years, but the Spaces Elements displayed then.

The spaces are visible in the screenshot you have provided; they are presented as centered dots between the words. Are these the elements you mean, or something else?

I have the same problem, and wish the spaces were more easily visible. Sometimes it is good they are discreet but sometimes you want them more visible. I haven’t found any way to make them more bold and visible.
Currently it is possible to change the colors of the elements, but not change their size or embolden them. I can see how being able to make them more prominent would be a good improvement on the ‘Invisible Elements’ feature - I will pass this idea along to our development team for future improvement!
