I have a bunch of writing in Markdown format. What is the best way to bring this in so that the Markdown formatting is converted properly.

Which app are the Markdown texts in?
If it has an Export to Word (.docx) feature, I’d export to .docx and then just drag and drop the file into Papyrus. 
Other formats like .html, .txt, or .doc work too, but .docx usually keeps the formatting the cleanest.
